Privacy

Short version: templates are made in your browser; we keep a private copy of your photo for 30 days only to troubleshoot.

Photos

Templates are generated by code running in your own browser. When you choose a photo in the studio, we also keep a private copy of it (re-saved without location or camera metadata), together with the settings you pick and previews of what you download or print. We use these only to troubleshoot problems and improve the quality of templates. Only our team can access them; they are never shared, sold or published. They are deleted automatically after 30 days. To have yours removed sooner, contact us. Designs from our gallery are not stored.

In pop-art mode with "Cut out the subject" switched on, a reduced copy of the photo is sent to our server so the subject can be separated from the background. That step returns only the outline of the subject and keeps nothing; the pop-art colouring itself happens in your browser.

Printed kit requests

When you request a printed kit we receive the details you type into the form, plus the finished template (outlines and numbers), its colour list and a small preview so we can quote and print it. We use these details only to handle your order.

Messages and newsletter

If you contact us or subscribe, we store your email and message so we can reply or send updates. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Usage statistics

We count anonymous events, such as "a gallery design was printed at A4 with 18 colours" or "a template made from a photo was downloaded as a PNG", so we know which designs, sizes and styles people like. These contain no images and no personal data.

We also count visits to our pages, without cookies. For each page you open, our server records the page, the website that linked to it, your country as reported by our network provider (Cloudflare), and your type of device, browser and operating system. To tell visitors apart it uses a code made from your IP address and browser that changes every day and cannot be traced back to you; the IP address itself is not stored with these statistics. They are deleted after 400 days.

Shopping links

The studio's "What you'll need" list links to Amazon searches for the canvas, paints and brushes your design needs. We pick the Amazon store for your country from the country our network provider (Cloudflare) reports; where there is no Amazon store, the list has no shopping links. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases on Amazon.in made through these links, at no extra cost to you. We send nothing about you to Amazon; once you follow a link, Amazon's own privacy notice applies.

Cookies

We set no tracking or advertising cookies. Your studio settings are remembered in your browser's local storage. Staff who sign in to the admin area get a session cookie.
